AED（エーイーディー）とは「Automated External Defibrillator（自動体外式除細動器）」の略で、

心臓がけいれんして血液を送り出せなくなった心停止状態の人に対し、

電気ショックを与えて正常なリズムに戻すための医療機器です。

音声ガイダンスに従うだけで一般市民でも使用可能で、

駅や空港、公共施設などに設置されており、迅速な除細動で救命率を高めることができます。

こちらを今回設置させて頂きました。

An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a medical device that delivers an electric shock to restore a normal heart rhythm in individuals experiencing cardiac arrest,

where the heart has stopped beating and pumping blood.

It can be used by members of the public simply by following voice prompts and is installed in locations

such as stations, airports, and public facilities. Prompt defibrillation with an AED can significantly increase survival rates.

We have now installed this unit.
